Chris Spheeris, class of '74
Whether your sex life has become routine (do i have your attention?), you want to explore latent creative gifts, are considering transcending the persona, or just forgot how to play, there is something vital here for you. The playshop is filled with hands-on experience in writing, photography, ceramics, painting, movement and music. Also, inspired guest speakers/a
...rtists will share their life experiences and their inspirations. Chris will speak on various topics, conduct creative exercises and meditations, and give specific instruction in photography.
Inspiration, and subsequent creativity, are not about what’s in our heads, far from it. In fact, quite to the contrary, pure inspiration can really only happen when we get out of our heads and allow ourselves to become fully engaged, fully immersed in presence.
These playshops/lifeshops are like nothing out there. They use art and the creative experience as metaphors, templates for creating our lives as the ultimate art form. Through immersion in the creative experience, we learn to identify the quality of inspiration and true presence. Once able to identify the state of inspiration and how we allow it to happen, we are able to cultivate it more and more in our lives. Imbued with inspiration, our lives become more purposeful, creative, peaceful, joyful, spontaneous, focused, healed, and ultimately more loving. The first of these seminars was nothing short of “mind-blowing”. Ultimately, it all comes down to Love.
